The Mudi is a herding dog breed from Hungary. It is closely related to the Puli and Pumi, from which it was separated in the 1930s. They continue to be used in herding, as well as participating in a variety of dog sports.

Adult males usually weigh 11–15 kg and females 8–12 kg. Most are close to their full size by around 18 months, though the last little bit of filling out takes longer. Growth reference: Salt et al. 2017, WALTHAM (9–15 kg band).
