The Whippet is a British breed of sighthound. It closely resembles the Greyhound and the smaller Italian Greyhound, and is intermediate between them in size. In the nineteenth century, it was sometimes called "the poor man's racehorse".

Two types. The AKC and the KC/FCI standards describe a different-sized Whippet, so Kintail bands your dog against the one your region follows — set it in Settings. KC/FCI type: males 47–51 cm, females 44–47 cm. AKC type: males 48.3–55.9 cm, females 45.7–53.3 cm.
