The American Eskimo Dog is a breed of companion dog, originating in Germany. The American Eskimo Dog is a member of the Spitz family. The Toy is the smallest of AKC's 3 American Eskimo Dog varieties: AKC: 9 in up to and including 12 in (22.9-30.5 cm); the breed page gives 6-10 lb; one range for both sexes. Typically 2.7–4.5 kg full-grown.
